JVA South Pacific Energy Ltda. fue creada en el año 2008 en el puerto de Valparaíso Chile, con la participación de tres socios con interés común por el medio ambiente y el futuro de las energías. JVA desarrolló un sistema de generación de energía undimotriz, que aprovecha en forma directa y óptima la fuerza de las olas para transformarla en potencia útil. Éste es un proyecto pionero en América Latina, con una capacidad de generación máxima de 5 MW y con una inversión inicial de US$7.000.000. El proyecto busca fabricar y probar prototipos en Chile para certificar y posteriormente, comercializar la nueva tecnología a nivel mundial. Este proyecto esta patentado en forma oficial en Chile, Estados Unidos de Norteamérica, China y pronto en la Unión Europea.
THE COMPANY:
JVA South Pacific Energy Ltda. was created in 2008 in the Valparaiso port, Chile, with the participation of three partners with a common interest in the environment and the future of energy. JVA developed a wave power generation system, which uses, in a direct and ideal manner, the strength of the waves to transform it into useful power. This is a pioneer project in Latin America, with a maximum generation capacity of 5 MW and with an initial investment of US$7 million. The project looks to manufacture and test prototypes in Chile in order to certify and later trade the new technology to a worldwide level. This project is officially patented in Chile, United States of America, China and soon in the European Union.
