CENTRO DE DESPACHO ECONÓMICO DE CARGA SISTEMA INTERCONECTADO CENTRAL (CDEC-SIC)
El CDEC-SIC es el organismo encargado de coordinar y determinar la operación de las instalaciones del sistema Interconectado central (SIC), incluyendo centrales generadoras, líneas y subestaciones del sistema de transmisión; y barras de consumo de clientes libres. Entre sus funciones
se cuentan: preservar la seguridad del servicio en el sistema eléctrico, garantizar la operación más económica del conjunto de las instalaciones
del sistema eléctrico y garantizar el acceso abierto a los sistemas de transmisión en la forma que establece la ley eléctrica. El CDEC-SIC está
integrado por todas aquellas empresas pertenecientes a los segmentos de generación igual o mayor a 200 MW, generación inferior a 200 MW,
transmisión troncal, subtransmisión y clientes libres, propietarios de instalaciones interconectadas al Sistema Interconectado Central en
conformidad a lo establecido en el Decreto Supremo Nº 291/2007 del Ministerio de Economía, Fomento y Reconstrucción

LOAD ECONOMIC DISPATCH CENTER CENTRAL INTERCONNECTED SYSTEM (CDEC-SIC)
The CDES-SIC is the organization in charge of coordinating and determining the operations of the Central Interconnected System (SIC) facilities, including generation plants, lines and sub-stations of the transmission system, and consumption bars of free clients. Some of its tasks include the preservation of the service’s safety in the electrical system, guaranteeing the most economic operation of the electrical system’s facilities and guaranteeing the open access to the transmission systems as established by the Electricity Law. The CDEC-SIC consists of every company that is part of the generation segments equal or higher to 200 MW, generation lower than 200 MW, trunk transmission, sub-transmission and free clients, owners
of facilities interconnected to the Central Interconnected System complying with what was established in the Supreme Decree Nº 291/2007 of the Ministry of Economy, Promotion and Reconstruction.
