CENTRO DE ENERGÍA DE LA FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS FÍSICAS Y MATEMÁTICAS DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE CHILE (CE-FCFM)
El Centro de Energía de la Facultad de Ciencias Físicas y Matemáticas de la Universidad de Chile se creó en el año 2009. Su misión es contribuir al ámbito energético, desarrollando e introduciendo soluciones tecnológicas novedosas y de calidad, que sean relevantes para el desarrollo nacional y competitivas internacionalmente. Asimismo, se busca encauzar el potencial de la FCFM en investigación, innovación y desarrollo hacia asociaciones productivas con la industria y colaboraciones académicas estratégicas. Los emprendimientos liderados por el CE-FCFM buscan agregar valor a la cadena de oportunidades que transforma el conocimiento en empresas y negocios de impacto económico y social. Las áreas de interés del CE-FCFM incluyen las siguientes temáticas: conversión de energía, sistemas de almacenamiento de energía y electromovilidad, redes inteligentes, generación distribuida y microredes, análisis de sistemas de energía y desarrollo de herramientas para la toma de decisiones, energía solar y desarrollo socio ambiental.

ENERGY CENTER OF THE PHYSICAL SCIENCES AND MATH FACULTY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CHILE (CE-FCFM)
The Energy Center of the Faculty of Physical Sciences and Mathematics of the University of Chile (CE-FCFM) was established in 2009. Its mission is to contribute to the energy sector by developing and introducing innovative and quality technological solutions. The CE-FCFM also seeks to exploit the potential of FCFM in research, innovation and development into productive partnerships with industry and strategic academic collaborations. The enterprises led by the CEFCFM are looking to add value and transform knowledge into business enterprises with an economic and social impact.
The areas of interest include the following topics: energy conversion, energy storage systems and electromobility, smart grids, distributed generation and micro-grids, energy system analysis and development of tools for decision-making, solar and socio-environmental development.
