En la Región del Maule, opera las Centrales Lircay (19 MW) y Mariposas (6MW), emplazadas a 30 km al nororiente de la ciudad de Talca.Este complejo cuenta con una línea de transmisión eléctrica de 26 kms, que le permite conectarse a través de la Subestación Maule al Sistema Interconectado Central (SIC). También, tiene a su haber una tercera central de pasada: la central Hidroeléctrica Providencia, emplazada a aproximadamente 10 km al norte de la Central Hidroeléctrica Lircay, también en la comuna de San Clemente, provincia de Talca. La Central Providencia, que fue posible gracias a una alianza estratégica con 3.800 regantes de la zona, tiene una capacidad instalada de 14 MW y aporta una generación anual de 61 GWh al SIC.

Owned by the Italian group Sorgent.E Chile and Empresa Austral Andina (EAA), Hidromaule is a hydroelectric generation company, based on NCRE run-of-theriver power stations. In the Maule Region, it operates the Lircay (19 MW) and Mariposas (6 MW) Power Stations, located 30 km northeast from the city of Talca. The complex has a 26 km-long electric transmission line, which allows it to connect through the Maule Substation to the Central Interconnected System (SIC). The company also owns a third run-ofthe- river power station: the Providencia Hydroelectric Power Station, located approximately 10 km north of the Lircay Hydroelectric Power Station, also in the San Clemente commune, Talca province. The Providencia power station, which creation was possible thanks to a strategic alliance with 3,800 irrigators in the area, has 14 MW of installed capacity and it contributes 61 GWh of annual generation to the SIC.
