Parque Eólico El Arrayán S.p.A., es propiedad de Pattern Energy y AMSA (Antofagasta Minerals). La fi lial opera el proyecto del mismo nombre, de 115MW, en la Región de Coquimbo. El parque utiliza 50 turbinas Siemens de 2,3MW que aportan una generación estimada entre 280GW/h y 350GW/h, lo cual dependerá del factor de planta. Dos tercios de la energía generada se destina al abastecimiento de Minera Los Pelambres, de Antofagasta Minerals, y el resto se vende en el mercado spot. El proyecto, cuya inversión fue superior a US$270 millones, incluye una subestación elevadora para la evacuación de la energía, a través de una línea de 23 kilómetros que conecta al troncal de transmisión.
THE COMPANY:
Parque Eolico El Arrayan S.p.A., is owned by Pattern Energy and AMSA (Antofagasta Minerals). The subsidiary operates the project with the same name, of 115 MW, in the Coquimbo Region. The farm uses 50 Siemens turbines of 2.3 MW each that contribute an estimated generation between 280 GW/h and 350 GW/h, which will depend on the plant factor. Two thirds of the energy generated is destined to the supply of Minera Los Pelambres, of Antofagasta Minerals, and the rest is sold on the spot market. The project, which investment exceeded the US$270 million, includes a booster substation for the evacuation of energy, through a 23 km-long line that connects to the transmission trunk.
