Maneja una cartera de proyectos en Chile que involucra unos US$1.000 millones. Entre las iniciativas de mayor envergadura, destaca “Amanecer Solar CAP”, considerado el parque solar fotovoltaico más grande de Latinoamérica, ubicado a 37 km de Copiapó, en pleno desierto de Atacama, con una capacidad total instalada de 100 MW, y que genera el equivalente al 15% de la demanda de energía del Grupo CAP y entrega el excedente al Sistema Interconectado Central (SIC). La planta cuenta con más de 310.000 módulos fotovoltaicos distribuidos sobre una superficie de 280 hectáreas. Además, tiene previsto desarrollar cerca de 300 MW de energía que se inyectarán a los sistemas SING y SIC, considerando los proyectos de Llano de Llampos, San Andrés, Crucero y Gramadal, entre otros. The company
Manages a projects portfolio in Chile that involves close to US$1 billion. Among the largest initiatives, there is the start-up of the “Amanecer Solar CAP” plant, considered the largest photovoltaic solar farm in Latin America, located 37 km from Copiapo, in the middle of the Atacama Desert, with a total installed capacity of 100 MW, and it will supply the equivalent to 15% of the energy demand of the CAP Group and it supplies the surplus to the Central Interconnected System (SIC). The plant has more than 310,000 photovoltaic modules distributed on a surface of 691 acres (280 hectares). The company is expected to develop almost 300 MW of energy that will be injected to the SING and SIC, considering the Llano de Llampos, San Andres, Crucero and Gramadal projects, among others.
